This is my submission for the Game Jam event held on 01/05/2026 for 48 hours by the University of the West of Scotland on the Paisley Campus.
Description: Dungeon Taker is a Dungeon crawler adventure game with a fantasy setting. Avoid traps and evade or defeat monsters in your search for 3 treasure chests to complete the game.
Development Details
Assets: The game was made with multiple asset packs from the unity store utilising character and monster packs, Environment and audio.
Environment assets were edited by myself using probuilder and modal animations were edited to include keyframe events to work with corresponding scripts.
Programming: I programmed the Player movement and attack scripts, the function damage calls between player and NPC’s. The traps and their events, triggers and their damage values. Along with keyframe events on all modals player and NPC’s to handle enabling and disabling of weapon colliders.
The Unity tools used to make Janus gate were ‘Cinama Machine’, ‘probuilder’ and ‘AI Navigator’ .
