Tutorial Level
Projects made by: Zac Herriot – Visual scripter, 3D animator, Game Developer

Made with ‘Unreal Engine‘
Experimental: This unreal project was part of a college task to develop a level of a hypothetical game in which the level would guide the player through the level while being taught the mechanics and gameplay features, hence the name ‘Tutorial Level’.
This project, though having a direction of Development, is what I use to try out new mechanics and features on the Unreal Engine and thus has no planned end to Development.
Development Details
Assets: Fire sound effect was acquired from the Unreal asset store while all other Sound effects were acquired from ‘Freesound’. Most textures were acquired from the unreal store, while some were acquired from other sources, most were under the creative commons licensing.
Player character model and animations were acquired from Mixamo, while Npc’s model and animations were acquired on the unreal store.
Programming: I worked on this project solo, created player movement inputs and animation reaction changes via player velocity and key binds.
Made several Triggers from players positions in level, item pickups and Npc hits.
